45425 – Car Park at Hunloke Road, Holmewood

Representation ID: 11336

Received: 13/04/2026

Respondent: District Councillor for Holmewood and Heath

Representation Summary:

The village has nearly doubled in size in recent years as there has been  far too development , our community is struggling with the rapid intake of new residents without time to assimilate. Local infrastructure is crumbling. Access to the M1 and bypass is horrendous, public transport is insufficient, forcing more car use. We are no longer a village, as local settlement gaps between NW and TN have disappeared. Local brooks have been buried increasing surface flooding; drains cannot cope and affect water pressure. Many sites are CAHR and wildlife is  affected and encroached onto the  Five Pits Trail.

Received: 13/04/2026

Respondent: District Councillor for Holmewood and Heath

Representation Summary:

i will be submitted my objections in full to this site. this site affects a community to a very large extent as it has social infrastructure on it and residents use it for access to their homes. this affects local wildlife and the roads are totally unsuitable for HGV and large volumes of traffic. i object in the strongest terms due to lack of access and the affect it will have on the local community.
