North East Derbyshire Statement of Community Involvement 2023

Representation ID: 10911

Received: 22/03/2023

Respondent: Mr Peter Booth

Representation Summary:

Section 3.6 and 3.7 form part of Getting involved in other applications. No where within this guidance does it identify where information can be obtained on potential works that may be of relevance to local communities particularly in relation to trees.
Local authorities have been criticised for allowing significant work or removal of trees without proper consultation with local communities and environmental groups.
It would be helpful if the section could provide some guidance on how individuals can comment on such proposals.
