In the absence of small development opportunities in the smaller villages such as Milltown, these villages will die. Policies should allow for small infill developments in and around the villages and hamlets.
Sites 45239, 45242 and 45245 at Milltown, offer the opportunity for small scale developments which would be proportionate to the size of the village. These sites can deliver self-build opportunities of high-quality bespoke properties.
The development of these site would be infill and would not be unduly prominent. There are no technical constraints to their development and we wish to promote them as suitable for small scale development.
