The allocation of site S&H802 would enable infill development, which would be well served by existing amenities within Shirland.
An element of site clearance is required, however this is not considered to be a significant barrier to development. There is an existing access from the site onto Main Road, with the potential for a secondary access if the adjacent development comes forward.
The SABP does not indicate any major constraints to the development of this site and it is considered that it offers the opportunity to make a positive, albeit limited contribution to the housing target within Shirland.
