Support approach to sustainable development and recognition of need for cross-boundary working.
Serious concerns that the objectives do not consider the District's spatial constraints, or detail any methodology of assessing and ensuring that development is located such that it is compatible with surrounding land uses.
This is particularly relevant to the South and East, in areas close to EPC-UK's Rough Close Works facility;
Council should recognise Rough Close Works within the spatial portrait of the South and the East, and further protect the site through the inclusion of site specific policies,
